What lubricant, if any, should be used for clothes dryer rollers?

Last summer I tried to use the "Industrial Graphite Dry Lubricant" (by "Blaster" from HomeDepot) for my aging dryer rollers and idler pulley. Besides graphite being quite stainy - it also caused squeaking (an opposite of what lubes are supposed to do?).
