GE Dryer -No flame

GE Dryer -No flame. I just replaced the belt on a 10+ yr old GE gas dryer (Model DDG6580GDLWH). This part of the project went well. Prior to doing this work, I disconnected the power and turned off the gas feed. When I restarted the dryer, the drum moves, but there is no heat. The gas valve is back on, but there is no flame in the heating element.

Remove the cover, carefully remove the wires on the old switch and then remove the switch. Position, align and tighten the new switch and place the wires on the proper terminals. Replace the cover. Install the knob with clip and plug the dryer back in. Upvote.

If you have a multimeter, you can check the thermostats. Unplug the dryer and locate the thermostats (probably located on the "tube" that houses the heating element. With your meter set to the lowest ohms scale, put the probes across the thermostat terminals. All the thermostats should be "0" ohms.
